brownies

ok, here they are but I am warning you the contents of what you ate this last week may shock you and add a few inches to your waist....don't say I didn't warn you.  But oh they are worth it!!!

brownies

4 1 ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup butter
2 1/2  cups sugar
4 eggs
1 TBS vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup flour

melt chocolate and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.  Do not burn.  Remove from heat.  Stir in sugar until well mixed.  Add eggs, vanilla adn salt and beat well with a spoon.  Fld in flour and mix just until smooth.  Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips (optional).  Pour into 9 x 13 greased and floured pan.  Bake @350 for about 30-35 minutes.  Cool and cut into squares.  I wrap them individually and then throw them in a bag in the freezer.  They thaw great on the counter or if you are in a quick need of a chocolate fix, you can microwave them too.  Have lots of milk handy and enjoy!

  1. My conscience says I shouldn't make these, but my taste buds are screaming MAKE THEM NOW!! We'll see who wins out in the end. :)
